To My Hubby

This post is dedicated to my husband because lets face it, the little things matter, and after 10 years of being together you could forget that...Robert you are pretty good about remembering and I started thinking about all the things you do for me that I am grateful for.

~Turning off the light when it's time for bed and neither one of us wants to get up to do it!
~Making sure the doors are locked at night.
~Singing to the boys before bed.
~Letting the children tackle you when you get home from work...even if you've had a long day.
~Introducing me to double stuffed oreos!
~Bringing home flowers for me just because.
~Helping Elijah with his homework.
~Mowing the lawn.
~Working extra so we can have what we need/want.
~Puting up with my cooking.
~Say I love you every time we are on the phone.
~Tickling my back...EVERY NIGHT!
~Changing diapers!
~Letting me be my crazy self when needs be!
~Going grocery shopping after the kids are in bed because I didn't make it earlier that day.
~Texting me just to say I love you.
~Not caring if the house is a wreck and I look like a wreck when you get home from work.
~Being understanding when I need to rest!
~Making dinner when I don't feel like it...which is a lot!
~Going to work every day!
And being understanding because I can be difficult sometimes! I love you babe, thanks for all you do for me and for the kids!

Addy came to me and said,"look I am a pillow girl!" Then I said, "Great can I sleep on you tonight?"
"No mom, I am just racing in my pillow case..." Ohhh OK.
We had Tuna Noodle Casserole tonight and Gwendolyn loved it!
Well at least I think she did!! LOL

Womens Fitness Celebration

This was my first 5k race and it was a BLAST!! Even though I was sick all week with a cold and still this morning we had a great time! My friend April ran it with me and she was such a trooper! Defiantly something I will do again!

Doing the Celebration dance!

Feeding the Ducks

We had some extra time before we had to pick up Robert from work so we went and fed the ducks. It was Gwendoyn's first time and she loved them!

Very Quiet....

Gweny was being too quiet, that is never a good thing, unless they are resting or taking a nap! In this case it was neither! The little stinker!

Quick Trip to the Park

I had to run to the library to get a book I had on hold and decided to take the girls to the park for a bit afterwords. We had a great time! Adeline wouldn't let me take a lot of pictures of her so I only got a few. Gwendolyn loved the tunnel. I had to come in after her to get her out!
We were waiting at the bus stop for the boys and the girls wanted to play in the back of the car.....whatever floats yer boat!

Middle Fork of the Boise River

We went on our last camping trip as a family over Labor Day weekend. We had a lot of fun and did a lot of fun things, but I will NOT go camping again with a baby that is crawling....any other stage is fine!

Gwendolyn was such a good helper while I loaded up the coolers!
These are a couple of pictures of the river close to our camp.
The kids found this rope, it was already on the tree so we made a swing for them!

There was a sandy beach by our camp! Me and my darling Adeline.
Oh yes.....and I LOVED it, now onto the next book.....
Mom, "Hey Ian, look at me, I want to get a picture of you!" LOL What a comedian!
Ahhhhhh, ok I made them do it!
This was Gweny's first time with sand, of course she loved it AND ATE it!!
Robert took the older three fishing and I stayed at camp and played with Gwendolyn, oh yeah and read my book! Adeline made herself a fishing pole. When I came down to tell them it was time for lunch I was just in time to see the boys catch their first fish of the weekend! Nice job guys!!
It was a little chilly the next morning so we hung out in the trailer!
Ahhhh nothin' like natural hot springs! To bad I wasn't really in the mood for them.
Our last morning camping...morning Elijah!
I know Robert just loves when I take pics early in the morning, oh and that thing under the blanket with Robert, that is our dog we adopted from Heidi and Aaron!
The boys went out early to catch some grasshoppers for the bait! Brrrr it was chilly.
Ah, there he is. His name is Hoops. He is 3 years old, and a miniature Schnauzer-poodle mix. Already house and kennel trained! He is only 3 pounds if that! The kids have had a good time with him. They like to walk him to the bus, especially Adeline because she says's he is just her size! We kept loosing him while camping, actually he just looked like the rocks! One time I had Gweny in one arm and my camera around my neck. I was calling for Hoops and he is really good about coming, I couldn't see him anywhere. I was standing at my feet the whole time, my camera was hiding him!
And of course one of Robert....one of his favorite places to be!
On the way home Elijah spotted some Elk! Then he asked if Robert was going Elk hunting this year and Robert said yes. Then Elijah asked, "what are you hunting for?" We all started laughing and told Elijah to think about that one....he got it and started to laugh too! Silly boy!
