The Passing of our Beloved Prophet.

Tonight we learned of the passing of Gordon B. Hinkley, the prophet of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. His optimistic personality along with his desire to serve the Lord and the people of the world will be missed terribly. He has touched the lives of many. I have had the opportunity to be in his presence and I can testify that he is an ordained man of God that lead this church and it's members. To read the complete story of Gordon B. Hinkley and his passing click here.

Slumber Party!!

We had a Slumber Party/Personal Progress with the Young Women to jump start the new year! It was soooooo much FUN!! We had it down in the game room at my apartment complex so there was pool, ping-pong, and Foosball to play. We did that for awhile and listened to some of my toons,I put in Ace of Base and no one knew what it was!! Wow did that make me feel OLD. We then did a mud mask as you see in the second picture...LOL that was funny. I have NEVER cut a real pineapple before so the girl (Steph)that brought it gave me a lesson! Thanks Steph, you are a great teacher! Then we did manicures, pedicures, and dipped our hands in WAX. If you have never done that before I HIGHLY recommend it, wow do you get relaxed!! I feel pretty good for not going to bed until 2:30am....just like old times.

Boys at lunch with grandma.

Sue holding Adeline--Thanks!

Ian playing in grandma's classroom for free choice.

We went to grandma's school today and it was Addy's first time! The boys love it there because they feel like BIG kids...not that the kids they are around are BIG because my mom teaches kindergarten, but anywho. Thanks to my mom for being such a great grandma and thanks to Sue for holding Adeline for me!!

Scarf Exchange Party

Some ladies in my ward put together a scarf exchange/ladies night out party and it was great! They had awesome german food and great conversation! Thank you so much for such a great party and scarf! We did a white elephant exchange with scarfs and there were 13 of them. The hot scarf was one from France...one of my good friends got that one...LUCKY!

2 months already

OK so have I told you how much fun it is having a girl?! Addy has brought such a sweet spirit into our family, not to mention more chubby cheeks and legs to pinch! She started cooing and smiling about 2 weeks ago, I love this stage! She loves to suck on her fingers, but they do not replace the Binky. Adeline rubs her eyes with her hands now when she's tired. It's always fun to see their personalities start to show. She still sleeps through the night and loves to be held by her older brothers! I can't wait for her hair to come in but, who said bald isn't beautiful!!

Fun with Paint...

My boys were begging me to paint...I think they just like how the paint feels smeared all over their hands.
