Up on the River.....AGAIN!

This was on the 19th, yes I am a little slow getting it up. Anyway, yep we went up on the river once again....one of our favorite day trips to do. In this first picture Elijah is celebrating that we FINALLY made it....worth it though!

Here Robert and Ian are hunting for grasshoppers! Great bait this time of year. The boys really like this because you pull there "jumpers" off as they call it!

We started doing this a couple years ago in Portland. You find some pine needles that are stuck together(usually three are stuck in the same bundle or whatever it's called)we each take one and on the count of three we pull. Whoever gets the top on theirs is a winner.....yes they are easily entertained.

They are fishing for guppies....good luck boys!

We were having a snack when out of nowhere this thing flew right at my face. I don't think the kids have seen their prego mamma move so fast! LOL that would have been a funny site!

Adeline was having a great time splashing me! She is so cute!

Robert catching a fish.....by the look on his face the fish must not have put up much of a fight!

Randomness

The boys like to have a race every morning before school.....not sure why, well yes I do they are boys. Ofcourse Adeline has to join in.

When Elijah and Ian both had school Adeline had to have her backpack too. Every day she asks if she is going to school too.

It was nice to see Ian and Adeline playing together, usually it's Elijah and Ian and poor Addy is by herself. Ian helped Addy get her skirt on too.

As cute and girly as she can be she is the messiest kid we have had!

Adeline was helping me make dinner. I put the dinner in the oven and looked up and this is what I saw. She said, "Mom, want some cheese too?"

After conference Adeline had to put Daddy's shoes on. So cute. I love it when she tries to walk around the house! LOL

Stake Conference

We had Stake Conference this weekend and wanted a good seat so we got there 1 hour early. The kids really wanted to go on the Temple grounds so that worked out well.

This picture is of Ian showing our Stake President, President Christensen his cowboy boots because President Christensen used to wear them too!

WHAT?! Adeline isn't scrunching her nose! Aren't they cute!

Seriously, Robert could have sat up straight so I didn't look so HUGE, well maybe that wouldn't have helped! LOL

The kids thought this golf cart was AWESOME with it's paint job so they had to have a ride in it. This is President Christensen's father!

Adeline smelling the showers(flowers)

The boys realllllly wanted to go inside. That's as close as they got.

Uahhh there is the nose scrunch! So cute!

Handsome young man, can't believe he is going to be 8 in 1 year! AHHHHHHHH

I wish he would pose like this more often! Usually he is running away from the camera!

The Choir sang the closing song and Robert had me glance over at Ian. He was so cute leading the music...........or so I thought! I looked back over to watch him some more and I noticed his hands were in the shape of guns and he was making the shooting sound. So here is my sweet Ian that I thought was leading the music, when in reality he was shooting the Choir members! LOL I love my children!

Fun filled Saturday

Spell check was not working so I am sure there are a few words mispelled! Like that is a surprise!! =)

It was soooo nice outside this Saturday(not toooo HOT) so we started the day early. The kids wanted to swing first thing in the morning so we headed out to the play ground for a few minutes. They were soooo silly talking with eachother!

Next we decided to go feed the ducks that we live by. I mean HELLO we have lived here for a year now and haven't done this yet!

The Swans would eat stuff off the bottom of the pond and the kids laughed every time they saw this. They had me take a picture and wanted it in the post!

Next, we still didn't want to go home and Robert and I felt like icecream at 10:30 in the morning...so we surprised the kids with icecream! They called it a treat and felt very special because they NEVER get icecream this early....which is true!

The YMCA where I work out has free family rock climbing on Saturdays and Ian has been wanting to go ever since we moved, so since Robert had meetings all afternoon I decided to take them. Here they are waiting for thier turn to go.

Addy wanting a turn. She kept saying, "Me turn, me turn."

Ian went up first and he was booken it! He got to 15 feet, turned and looked down and said I am done! LOL He did awesome! They were impressed by him.

Here he is coming down!

Next was Elijah and he booked it up there too! He was almost as high as Ian when he decided to come down, as far as he knows they were at the same hieght!

Elijah coming down.

Aren't they cute!

Addy snuck in and got this far before I caught her....."Mommy, look at me!" LOL silly girl!

Ian wanted to go up again so here he is the second time on a little bit harder wall!

Addy was playing really quiet and I found her like this. I asked her what she was doing and she said, "Shhhh Addy hideing."

***G&G's Davenports and Ian's 1st day of Preschool

Welp Ian started his first day of 2nd year of Preschool this year and he was totally excited! Adeline was not so happy this day. She said, "Elijah school, Ian school, Addy school!" Very sad girl so we did some girl shoppin' and that fixed that!

On Sunday we took a trip to G&G Davenports after church and stayed the night. It was fun to see them again and the boys loved playing with missy their dog.

No I did not have anything to do with this, just took the pic! LOVE IT!

Addy and Grandma spend most of their time feeding and burping the babies!

***Camping***

I thought this camping trip was going to be boring because we were the only ones going. Turns out we had a BLAST!!! One of the kids favorite things to do was throw rocks in the river. They literally could do it for hours....

Robert took us to some natural HOT springs and PHEWWWW they were HOT! Luckily we found one that still had cold water running into it so it was just right!

Later we had a good ol' time around the camp fire! A little trade mark picture!

Some singing! This is Addy singing Twinkle Twinkle little star...soooo cute!

Some crazy dancin'!

Last but not least, SMORES.......mmmmmm were they good!

On the last day Robert took the boys fishing while Addy and I slept and this is what he came back with.....yummmm it was a good one!

We had some great times and made lots of good memories! Thanks babe for taking us camping! Oh yeah we also sang to Robert because it was his birthday!
