Davenport Reunion 2010

We went to 1000 springs resort over by Hagerman this year and boy was it HOT! It was great seeing the Davenport family again and getting caught up with one another! Lucky for us we stayed next to Trudy and her air conditioning!

I got this little tent at a garage sale for 5 bucks! The best 5 bucks I ever spent.

Boise River

We LOVE going up on the river! We stopped off at Badger Creek first and got attacked...I mean ATTACKED by mosquito's. Adeline had at least 30 of them on her and the bites to prove it. So we headed up the river and found this great spot.

I love this capture....and I didn't even stage it! I promise we feed her! She has always liked chewing on fabric! We love the RIVER!

Gwendolyn 7 months

Wow this girl is getting big! Here are some things she is doing....

*3 naps a day

* 17 1/2 pounds 28 1/2 inches long

*still nursing 3-4 times a day and once at night

*has her 2 bottom teeth and 2 top front teeth. The 2 top teeth on either side of her front ones are coming in.

*still won't take a bottle, but likes to drink out of sippy cups.

*LOVES WATER

*can feed herself cheerios which she LOVES

* does not like breads...any kind (when she doesn't like something she closes her eyes, puckers her mouth and scrunches her nose)

*pulls herself onto her knees from a sitting position and can go back into a sitting position

*not crawling but can kind of scoot

*says gaga and dada(so cute!)

* her hair is long enough to put into a little boink!

*dances(rocks back and forth) when she hears music or someone singing

*is starting to understand the signs for hungry, more, drink, all done

Since all my other kids RUN from the camera you just get to see more of cute Gweny! Have a wonderful 4th of July everyone!

9 Years

Yep we have been married for 9 YEARS!! We've had our good times and not so good times but the important thing is, is that we got through it! Here's lookin' to more years babe! Love ya.

Lakeview Water Park

Heidi called me and told me about this cheeeeeeep water park she discovered in Nampa. I was allllll over that! We had a BLAST!!!!!!!! It cost me 8 bucks for the whole family! Thanks Heidi, that was FUN!! Can't wait to go back next week!

After visiting my friend Jessica in Portland and tasting her YUMMY freezer jam I had to give it a try! Can I just say EASY PEEZY...lemon sqeezy(as Elijah would put it!) It tastes sooooooo good too!

While we were in Portland I gave the girls a bath and this is the first time Gweny really got into it! Cute to watch!

The boys found my MP3 player and were having a blast. Here they are meditating to church music!

Adeline loves her little sister...Gweny was out chillin' in the yard and Addy looks out the window, opens the door and goes and lays down by her and just starts talking to her! My heart melts when I see moments like these!

Gweny had a fever Thursday night and all day Friday. It was between 100 and 102 and wouldn't go down. We finally got some motrin and that did the trick. She was back to her normal happy self the next day. Poor thing. Addy was sad for her baby sister.

Gwendolyn 6 months

Ok so I have A LOT of catching up to do. We were out of town visiting my mom and dad and I had 9 photo shoots!! So fun. Then I had to come home and edit them all!

This picture was taken before we left. I can't believe Gweny is 6 months already! Here are some things she is doing:

*sitting up

*getting on her hands and knee

*still teething

*shakes her head no no

*Happy 95% of the time

*goes to bed BY HERSELF(that is huge in this home!)

*eating cereal and food

*17 pounds

*still rocks back and forth

*take 2-3 naps a day

*Loves when her brothers and sister plays peek a boo with her

*is starting to like the bath more and more

YES I TURNED 30!!

WOW turning 30 ROCKED!!! LOL I don't know what all those other ladies were talking about....thank you for all the birthday wishes... I.AM.LOVED.

Thanks everyone who came to the BBQ...we had a great time! Here we are singing the song...Ian sang it like this...Happy birthday to you CHA CHA CHA.....LOL it was great!

The boys were out numbered so they had to show their MAD wrestling skills! LOL YEAH RIGHT!!!

Have you seen my car? This is not my car...

So as I was leaving the gym today and I was strolling along headed to my car...making sure the kids don't get ran over...I get to my car and wonder why it won't unlock. I FINALLY realize that it was NOT my car and started laughing.....my kids just look at me and started laughing too. Adeline says "mom you are silly, that's not our car!" I asked Ian why he didn't tell me it wasn't our car (kids are usually more observant) and he just laughed and said I thought it was our car!

What have we been up to?

All the little goslings are out! We headed down to feed them our bread storage from the winter. Poor Adeline got attacked my one of the BIG white swans, thought her arm was bread.

We just moved into a house about a week ago and this is one of the first things the kids wanted to do! I don't blame them.....NICE!

I can't get enough of these.....MmMmMmmmmmMmmmmMmmmm Mint oreos.......ok I better stop or I'm going to want some more!
Gwendolyn has started to sit up and boy does she LOVE it! I would too after all those months of laying down. She still has no teeth...weird! All my others had at least 2 teeth by now!

Little sayings

We were driving home last week and we passed a store I ALWAYS shop at for the kids. Adeline saw it and said, "Mom I want to go look at some clothes." Leave it to the girls to want to go shopping!

Ian got a batman shirt for his birthday so Adeline wanted to wear hers too. She put it on and came to show me. Mom, "WOW Addy are you bat girl?!" She said, "YEAH bat girl to the rescue"....and then ran around the house with her arms out like she was flying.

Are game in the car lately is SLUG BUG. You know those bugs with the canvas tops?!...When Ian sees one of those he says SLUG BUG with topping!

Elijah comes up to me the other day and says mom what is BOOBIES?! (i have learned to keep my composure) I turned to him and asked what he ment. He said, "well I read it on a sign."(we have a store that is called boobies that we drive by quite often.)

PHEW....it could have been worse....the joys of a reading child!
