ROAD TRIP!!

We decided to go see my mom for her Birthday, we had heard of snow and ice in the pass so it was a day of wondering if we should go or not. I said a little prayer(along with everyone else...thanks!) and decided to go! So we left Thursday night at 5pm....the roads were DRY and clear!! We made it in record time of 8 hours, because the kids were REALLY good!

We had to stop and get gas.....Ian was a little dazed and confused! LOL

Gweny needed her night cap and she wouldn't take it from me!

The next day was my mom's birthday, but she thought it would be fun to take the kids to the Children's Museum...and it was!

The girls loved this little house.....we played in there for quite some time!

Later we took Grandma out for dinner..Happy Teriaki......Gweny was our entertainment! She was screaming and saying ahhhh into the bowl, then laughing!

Then we sang and had cake!

Thanks Grandpa and Grandma for letting us come and play! We had a great time and we love you!

At last it was time to pack up and head out! This is how Adeline fell asleep on the way home....look at her hands, so sweet!

The Y

I love the Y!! I have been a member there for almost 3 years now and I feel like it is my second home! Not only do I love the people and the classes they offer but I love their purpose! They aim to strengthen their community and by doing so they offer financial assistance to those who need it! Also they are family oriented and teach our children values and get them interacted while their moms work out not sit in front of a TV or Video games like other gyms....

This year I am volunteering to be a Strong Kids Campaign Captain who helps raise money for the families and children in our community so they too can have a chance to not only live a healthier life, but to be successful as an individual as well! If you would like to donate to this cause let me know and I will get the ball rolling! As little as 5 bucks gets a child a lunch and a swim!

The boys room was a DISASTER ZONE the other night, Ian was already asleep and Elijah had just gotten into bed. The boys still like us to sing to them at night and it was my turn, I couldn't stand how messy their room was so I cleaned it up and I said to Elijah, "Did you see how long it took me to clean your room?......"Yeah it took you like less than 5 minutes.".........."Yep it did, now why is that?"...........(because it takes them hours!) "because you are used to cleaning it up!".......LOL the little smarty pants. I just laughed and said he was right and kissed him good night.

WAHOOZ and DINN DINN

The boys earned a free pass to Wahooz through their school by exercising everyday for one month...not hard for them to do.....so we went!

Gweny wasn't to sure of Spider man but Adeline sure liked him!

Ahhhh the dance machine.........Elijah's favorite thing to do, he is really good at it too! Ian is getting there, his legs aren't quite long enough yet....

Laser tag ROCKED!! I wish there weren't so many people so we could go more....the boys had a good time telling me how to put on my gear, how to shoot, where to run, and so on! (Ian didn't like to have to wait in line.)

The girls loved this game because they could get a lot of tickets and they were good at it!

We had a great time and can't wait to go back when we can go outside and do the outdoor games too!

Then we treated ourselves to one of our favorite places to eat! Mmmmm the shrimp, chicken, cream cheese and crab thingys, donuts, and ice cream...just to name a few faves!
