Camping!

July 5-8, 2012

We drove back from my mom's house, Robert flew into Portland and we picked him up there.

The next day we were on the road to camping! We were soooooo excited! I love the Mountains, cousins, camp fires, reading in peace while the kids play, songs, guitars, hot springs, sound of the river, Johns dutch oven cobbler! Lots of great stuff, camping.

We had a lot of firsts this camping trip! Sadly this flat tire wasn't one of them. Thank goodness Robert is a handy man! See we miss placed the keys to the camper where our jacks were....so we had to use some rocks near by! (later we found the keys in Gwendolyn's purse she was carrying around that morning...no she didn't bring it with her, we had to brake into the camper too.) It was only High 80's maybe even hotter while he was fixing this flat! Thanks BABE! You're our HERO!!

Another first, Gwendolyn finally sad Doggy instead of Goggy, we know she can say it she just doesn't!

 

We had a great time with the family. Shooting guns, fishing, roasting marshmallows, playing with a snake at the hot springs, water gun fights, pine cone contest, Elijah won for biggest pine cone, games, hikes, playing with Pamela's new baby....love it!
