HAPPY BDAY ELIJAH

Elijah has been obsessed with the Boise State Bronco's ever since we moved down here and that is what he wanted his party to be. We were soooo busy with everything this year we just had a family party which was GREAT! Grandpa and Grandma Hallenberger came over too! I can't believe my baby is 6!!

Christmas Party with the Davenports

Robert has a HUGE family so we always have 2 or 3 christmas parties to go to this time of year. This was the first one on the 6th of December at Trudy's(roberts step sister)house! We had a lot of fun and Addy got all the attention because she is the only one her age and she is just soooo dang cute!

Eeeewwwww, but whatever.

Trudy showed Addy where she kept all the cups so Addy would get them out and hold them up to the fridge where you get the water out! Soooo cute! Smart Addy.

ok, here we go.....

This was after our first snow fall and Elijah really wanted to play in it and I was being lazy not letting him...I finally gave in and then Adeline was wanting to go out!




I was cleaning and playing Christmas music so Robert and Addy started to dance....it was soooo cute!

Adeline loves books and will bring one to you.....all day long and want to sit on your lap and read. I just got done reading to her, left the room and then heard Elijah start to read. This is what I found! SOOOOOO SWEET!

My boss is Awesome and treated all of us to a Christmas dinner at Texas Road House! YUMMY!!!! My boss, Jason is the one in the back with glasses and Tiffany, Jason's wife is way in the back hiding.Our new maintenance tech, Scott is the one at the front of the picture making a weird face. Stephanie is his wife(in the blue shirt)and is my new buddy and work out partner! LOVE IT!


This was at Elijah's Christmas program. We were there 15 minutes early and still sat way in the back. I had a good zoom lens but the flash didn't carry that far....Elijah did such a good job and he knew all the words to his songs!

North Pole

Heidi and Aaron invited us to go on a train ride to the North Pole and see Santa! We were all soooo excited to go and brrrrrrr was it chilly! We had a 30 minute train ride to the "North Pole" where we got off and had milk and cookies, sang carols, stand by the warm fire, and saw SANTA!!! The boys told him they wanted a two wheeler scooter for Christmas and Addy didn't want anything to do with him.....as seen in the picture! We had a great time, thanks!!!

Randomness

Just some things we have been up to as of late!

John(Roberts brother)came over to visit with his kids....haven't seen his kids for about 3 years or so.

Family Night

Robert and I had been really busy with work...I have been in the office the past three weeks. (Not lifting Addy and not cleaning the house constantly has allowed for my body to heal faster)and Robert has been busy showing homes. The kids have been so good they deserved a FUN family night out. We took them to Planet Kid that has a BIG in door play area and then went to dinner after words. It was so much fun to just play with the kids and not think about anything else. I got stuck in the toddler room with Addy because I still can't put wait on my knees.(that is why there are so many pics of her...she is just tooooo cute! Our children bring so much joy to our family! We are so greatful to have such loving, healthy, and silly kiddos!

Jo Update

A lot of people have been asking how I am doing so here is an update....
I am doing pretty good. I have been going to physical therapy twice a week for my neck. My knees are healing pretty well, I sill have a big knot on my left knee. My physical therapist did an ultra sound on it to help break up the hard mass...anyway, I am not supposed to lift a lot because of my sprained sternum...lol it sounds like I am falling apart, really I'm good. Thanks for all of your thoughts!

Addy's Personality at 1

I forgot to write what Addy is doing at this stage in her life!!!
*She is using walking as her main transportation as of 1 week ago.
*Still one nap a day
*only 1-2 bottles a day
*Will throw herself one her belly when throwing a fit. LOL really funny!
*When you ask her if she wants a bottle she smacks her lips.
*When she is frustrated she scratches her right ear, poor ear...
*LOVES FOOD and sometimes out eats her brothers
*Loves to be chased
*Signs more, please, potty, all done, drink, eat, fruit,and bath.
*Says bye bye, mom, dad, baba,hi, more(moe) up, hot.
*Sometimes when she wants more of something she reaches towards it, you ask her if she wants more then she nods her head.
*Does not like getting her diaper changed.
*Loves to cuddle her baby dolls
*Will stick up for herself if her brothers are bugging her
*She is folding her arms for prayer(sometimes)
*Addy like to go for a ride. If you ask her she nods her head and points to outside
*Likes to color
*LOVES to have her clothes off. She always takes off her socks and then tries to take off her shirt...silly Addy!
*Gives LOVES (hugs and kisses)
*She always walks around the house and will use her whisper voice saying who knows what!
*LOVES to climb the stairs and Elijah's ladder to his bed.
*Washes herself when she is in the bathtub
*Dances to music
*Addy LOVES LOVES LOVES to be tickled, just like mamma!!
*Likes to wear shoes...to bad her mother isn't into shoes that much!
*She likes to sit on the counter when I am getting ready and pretend to put make-up on.
*LOVES grapes and eggs
*Likes to talk on the phone..pretend talk.
*SHE FINALLY CUT HER 4 MOLLERS(sp?) THAT SHE HAS BEEN WORKING ON FOR THE PAST 1 1/2 months!! Now she has 12 teeth!!

1 already?!

We cannot believe Addy is 1 already!!! She has brought so much joy into our home! We are soooo blest to have this sweet little spirit apart of our family! She has quite the personality as you can see from the pics!!
I was in a little pain today from my car accident so we just had a little party with just us....it was great! Addy had to eat her cake with a fork, and she loves the baby dolls she got, the yellow one is from aunt Jordy and the purple one is from grandma Davenport, she made it by hand. My mom got Addy some cute clothes(the tights she has on)I can't wait to put her in her little dress from my mom!!! Thank you everyone for sharing her special day with us!!

Oh yeah, I decorated her cake with the fake flowers I had around the house....nothing like my sista can do though.... =)
